Boring software.
Unskippable content.

I run social at ClickUp. I'll build you the same machine: the writers room, the shoot day, the hook tests. Then I hand it to your team and it keeps running without me.

I was employee
number four.

In 2017 my buddy Zeb Evans told me he was building a project management app. I was employee number four. We worked 18-hour days for years and I'm not rounding that up.

ClickUp is a thousand-plus people now. $535M raised. $4B valuation. Social is the part I own.

When I took it over we had 33,000 followers. We're close to half a million. In 2024 the account did over a billion impressions, and at our peak we were running 200 million a month. Facebook Reels alone did 100 million views in 30 days.

Everyone assumes that's a creativity problem. It isn't. It's the same five days, every week, run the same way.

That's the whole trick. Most companies won't do it because it's boring.

I never had a plan for any of this. I just dove in. Wouldn't change a thing.

Content isn't the thing
you do after the launch.

It's the front door. It's where almost everyone meets you first, before the demo, before the deck, before a single sales call. Most companies treat it like a chore and you can tell. The fix isn't better ideas. It's a room where ideas get voted on, a shoot day that fills a bank, three hooks cut for every video that ships, and a rhythm that doesn't care whether anyone feels inspired on a Tuesday.

  1. MonWriters room

Everyone brings three ideas. We pitch, we riff, we vote, and you can't vote for your own.

  2. TueScripts

The winners get tightened. Hooks get written last, because the hook is the product.

  3. WedQuality check

Anything that reads as an ad dies here.

  4. ThuShoot day

12–15 videos in one day. Enough to keep 80 in the bank at any time.

  5. FriThe numbers

Every video, tracked by hand. What worked gets a name and becomes a format.

One video, cut three ways, costs the editor four extra minutes. The version that would have done 60K did 10 to 20 million.

Both are built for B2B SaaS. Series A and up, 20 to 500 people.
